US Women’s Mountain Running Team will be decided in 10 days at Loon Mountain
The Loon Mountain Race, well know in New England as one of the toughest, most European-like of all of the mountain races in the country, will serve as the venue for the 2012 sole qualifying race for the 2012 US Women’s Mountain Running Team. The top 4 US Women at the race will go to Ponte di Legno Italy to represent the US at the World Mountain Running Championships.
The competition at this year’s race is probably the best it has ever been for our women’s selection race. Over the next week, we’ll be highlighting some of the competitors who will be at Loon.
