The "Death Trail" is 9.0 miles, starts at 6100' elevation and finishes at 10,678' with an average 12% grade. The first 1.8 miles is the paved road leading to the trail head. The remaining 7.2 miles is a sigle track dirt trail. Needless to say the views are spectacular (if you dare take your eyes off the trail!).
