Kasie Enman, 2011 World Mountain Running Champion, will try to make the team again this coming weekend at the Loon Mountain Race. Trail Runner Magazine just did a great interview with her so we thought we’d share that instead of a few highlights. Enjoy!
This trio of Colorado athletes have had a variety of successes in many disciplines, including road, trails and snowshoes.
Michele Suszek made her first USMRT in 2011 with an impressive 2nd place finish at the Cranmore Hill Climb. Although best known as a road runner before that, Michele has always had a love of trail running. Besides her strong showing at Cranmore and then great showing as well at the WMRC in Albania on a very tough course, Michele also qualified and ran in the Olympic Marathon Trials in 2012 and also won the USATF 50 Mile Trail Championships.

US Mountain Running Team members Eric Blake, Kevin Tilton, Dave Dunham and Eric Morse are all in the race.
Note for 2012 Loon entrants, the course in 2008 had an extra half mile in it. This More >
